About the designers: Neo was conceived in Fremantle, Western Australia in 1980 but its roots can be traced back to shoemaking ancestors who had migrated from Brindisi in the south of Italy to Istanbul, the cultural capital of Turkey, at the turn of the previous century.
The subsequent conflict in the melting pot that was Europe saw the family flee eastwards to India and from there to a new world of opportunity in Australia in 1950 - nearly one hundred years after the original emigration from Italy. Whether through the Italian inspired sophistication of our flagship Neo label, the Spanish flair of the Nu by Neo diffusion line or the bold nature of Neo X, there exists a celebration of the long and rich tradition of our ancestry in every pair.
Our creative team draws on this tradition, constantly re-defining classical themes in the most contemporary fashion to bring you a truly global expression of our footwear heritage.
